Information
Texas Wine Tours offers
many ways you can experience Texas Hill
Country Wines:
Long Tour
Price: $139.00 per person plus tax
This is our flagship tour which takes you to 5 of the best
wineries and tasting rooms in the Hill Country. Beginning in
Fredericksburg with a 10:30am (11:30
on Sundays) pick-up at your lodging or the Convention and Visitors Bureau, we continue our tour and visit five of the following wineries:
We will stop for
lunch during the tour at a local restaurant.
Our last stop may be at one of the wineries which offer live
music for your enjoyment. Please note that music may not be
available depending on the winery schedule.
The length of time we spend at each of the above wineries is
governed by your desires but in Texas Wine Tours experience, 45 minutes to one hour is the norm.
We return to Fredericksburg between 5:00pm and 6:00pm and drop
you off where we picked you up.
Pick-up points outside of Fredericksburg can be arranged but
will incur additional fees. Please call to arrange these pick-up
points.
Your guide has telephone numbers for several fine restaurants in
Fredericksburg and will be happy to make recommendations and
assist you with reservations. As these establishments fill up
rather quickly, let us know your needs early in the tour so we
can try to make you a reservation.
Your lunch and basic wine tasting fees are included in the price of $139.00 per person plus applicable taxes.
Short Tour
Price: $89.00 per person plus tax
If you are visiting Fredericksburg and all day is too long for
your taste, we also offer a ‘short tour’ which visits 3 wineries
or tasting rooms.
The ‘short tour’ starts at 1:30 pm and lasts 3 hours. Complementary tastings are included on this tour but lunch is not.
Pick-up point for the ‘short tour’ is at the Fredericksburg
Convention and Visitor’s Bureau located at 302 East Austin
Street. The tour boards from the bus ramp and will return to the
same location. There is ample parking for your vehicle behind
the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
Group Tours
We get requests to visit wineries other than the ones listed
above and we are happy to work with you to design a custom tour
to fit your needs. If you are interested in a custom tour,
please remember that we require the group to be at least 8
persons and a two week minimum advance notice is needed. Rates
are determined by the route you select and the place you wish to
be picked up at. A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is required at the time of reservation for a custom tour. The individual cancellation policy does not apply.
